Princess Máxima launches Shoe buddies from Edukans


Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands will start Edukans Shoe buddies on Bavinck School in The Hague. Shoe buddies is an project involving children in the Netherlands a shoebox filled with toys and school supplies for children in developing countries.

Shoe buddies is one of the schools programs of Edukans, the development agency for education. In the last fifteen years, more than two million children in developing countries a shoebox gift for a child received in the Netherlands.
This day Dutch children learning to share and raise their awareness of the fact that not every child in this world goes to school.
